Tank transportation by container
This is the most economical transporting way. When the quantity of tanks are just available for one single container the average cost of each tanks reaches the lowest. Therefore, at the earliest design stage, we’ll consider the factor of containet when transport tanks. In the business case of a Brazilian customer ordering pure water tanks, the original equipment dimensions we offered were 2300mm in diameter, capacity in 10m³, the tank can be only transported by flat racks and the cost was three times of the price of common container. Finally our customers accepted our proposal to adjust the size to 2250mm, the same capacity, and the cost is greatly reduced.
Three regular sizes of containers we use for tank transportation

As per our packing experience:
1 The maximum cross-sectional dimensions of the tanks that 20GP 40GP can load are with width 2250mm and with height 2250mm;
The maximum cross-sectional dimensions of the tanks that 40GHQ can load are with width 2250mm and with height 2550mm;
2 From the capacity point of view, a single tank with maximum capacity that 20GP can fit is about 15m³; A single tank with maximum capacity that 40GP / 40HQ can fit is about 35m³. These two values are theoretical capacity, the actual capacity is decided according to process requirements and tank structural requirements, not all tanks can be made in this specification. For example, the optimum ratio of diameter and height is 1: 2.5 for beer fermentation tank, and the ratio requirement is not much restricted for the water tanks.
Container packing type
If equipment net height which is the minimum height after removing detachable accessories is less than 2550mm, it can be placed upright in 20GP / 40GP;
If the net height is less than 2550mm, it can be placed upright in 40HQ;
If the net height is greater than 2550mm, it can be placed horizontally on a transport saddle, lying into the container.
We will make transport boxes for our products to prevent possible damage from other products in the same container in case of insufficient quantity of tanks purchased by our customers. Besides safe packaging of our products the pothooks up and down in container will be used to fix products to prevent movement in container, moreover the measure of anti-impact will be taken in order to avoid impact inside container in ocean-shipment cased by ocean stormy waves.
In principle, we will design a slot for the forklift at the product out package. When the product dimension is close to the container size limit, and forklift operation is not available, we will design pulleys and guide rail, enabling customers to easily get products out of container.
Tank transportation by flat rack
When the finished products cannot be transported by containers, we prior to use the flat racks and the cost is much higher than the container.

The maximum cross-sectional dimensions of tanks that 20 ” Flat rack and 40 ” Flat rack tank can fit are with width 3500mm and height 3500mm;
The maximum length of tanks that 20 ” Flat rack can fit is 5700mm;
The maximum length of tanks that 40 ” Flat rack can fit is 11500mm.
Whether vertical or horizontal packing, dimensions of width and height can not be more than 3500mm

Transport tanks in and out of rack
Cranes are generally used to lift our products into flat rack at the top. The products are specially designed with lifting lugs.
Bulk cargo for tank transportation
When the cross-sectional dimension of finished products is greater than 3500mm, the bulk carrier transport is the only feasible way. The cost of using bulk cargo transport is higher than the flat rack transport costs. In addition, the sailing schedule is less frequent and along with longer shipping time. We will arrange shipment as early as we can to determine a relatively precise arrival date.
